The ones who think it looks better on the floor. But I dated a guy once who actually bought me lingerie, except it wasn’t the pretty kind. It looked cheap and tacky, and it was this horrid shade of pink. But he seemed so excited so I wore it. Once. Blergh. Then I hid it somewhere so he’d never find it again.

It’s one of those *things* that I find strangely hard to part with because it costs so much when I or he bought it.

I think fancy lingerie is a mood item. You have to be in a certain mood to wear it. It sometimes puts you in a certain mood when you wear it. And if he comes home to find you wearing it, well, it sets that particular mood too. Don’t you think it makes things a little more romantic? Do you think it softens your partner?
