So, I’m reading Mary Roach’s Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex, because The Foster Kid’s review made it sound worthwhile.  It is, but boy-howdy I’ve read a lot of information about pig orgasm now.

According to research, when you’re sexually excited your pain threshold goes up. Way up. People achieve pretty impressive and cringe-worthy feats when hopped up on sex hormones. Doctors have stories. Fetlife has pictures.

I’ve seen things, y’all.

The first time I attempted this sex blogging thing, I posted a picture of myself, specifically of my breasts, rather bruised. I got very concerned messages.Very concerned.

And I get it. I do. I think, there is an element of wanting to save the damsel in distress when you send that sort of missive through the tubes, but really, I believe them. It looks like it hurts. It does hurt. I’ve been pretty marked up. There’s that little voice, on say… day three?  When the purple maxes out? That voice wonders, ‘Jesus, you perv, what the fuck? This is okay with you? Issues much?’

That little voice goes pretty much silent when you’re actually getting the bruises, though. You are busy, just then. Preoccupied.

I have a love/hate relationship with marks. On the one hand, I like their lingering on my girl to remind her of what’s happened. On the other, I worry about any kind of lasting damage. But the body is fairly resilient. It seems to be able to take this and fix it all up.

So, I’m more concerned with her immediate reactions. When she comes up afterwards and cuddles up close I know she’s less concerned about the marks than about the feelings inside.

PS: The Cuban heeled stockings quite hot. Walking her in those stockings and heels down the block would make for a fantastic preparation for dinner and after dinner activities. MMM!

Yeah, on the young and able-bodied, the skin bounces back. It would be really lousy way to find out you’ve got circulatory or clotting problems, though.

Yes, but we assume that bottoms all get a permission slip from their doctor first!

The girl in the picture looks plenty healthy. But I’m a little concerned that they are mostly on the side, as if the implement has been wrapping. Do you know anything about this picture?

I want the girl to think about her punishment when she sits down. If the bruises are on the side, that doesn’t seem like she got what she really needed.

This picture ( seems to have them spread out more evenly. They also seem to be more surface marks than deep bruises.

The other thing is that the body area matters a lot to me. I think of marks on the breasts as more dangerous than marks on the bottom. The marks on this girl’s thighs don’t concern me in the same way. The same level of marking on her breast would be much more severe.

        I don’t know much, no.

I am sort of amused at the idea of getting a doctor’s note.
