How can you not love that cover?
I’ve loved that cover for years. I’ve used it for avatars, even, and I recently found out you can have the text for only a dollar.
A buck, y’all.
So, I had to buy it.
The Uncensored Confessions Of A Trailer Camp Tramp
Blurb from back: The trailer camp dwellers were always having fun–especially when they played strip poker, switch parties and other interesting games!
“Loren Beauchamp” is actually Robert Silverberg, who wrote at least 100 mid-century sci-fi pulp books. ”Beauchamp’s” other titles include treasures like “Registered Nympho” and “Campus Sex Club.”
Sin on Wheels hit brown paper bags (I assume) in 1960.
The book itself is very, very late 50′s. It’s got strip poker, but it’s also got Deviant Predatory Lesbians, and Rapey Pete, and plentiful cocktail wieners.
For a dollar?
Not so bad.

Yes, that’s a great cover. I love those old campy art covers. And look at her curves! Much more realistic than the photoshopped stuff we get today. If only I was an artist…
So how was the story itself? And more to the point, the sex?
The story and sex were bizarrely grounded in realism. I mean, I was hoping for wanton crazy smut, but it was more like if Mad Men happened in a trailer park with writers that were high all the time.
So the book was odd, and the conclusion was kind of depressing. The average was 2 Stars on Goodreads.
Love that cover. That’s an OG Evil Slut right there.
Well, if you’re a science fiction writer, I suppose you have to make your money somehow!
A very nice find!
He wrote a TON of sci-fi, though. I think these were either “testing the water” books, or he just wanted to write some smut.
